Livon 'Solarco' friulano -ribolla gialla 2020

The friuliano grape variety is ubiquitous in Friuli, and although 100% varietal examples exist, it is more often blended with one (or sometimes up to four) other varieties. Usually these are high acid varieties such as sauvignon or riesling, but here we have some ribolla gialla, another local variety that adds richness and weight.

The result is a full-bodied, richly textured wine that will do a roast chook proud for Sunday lunch if you're maybe over chardonnay...
