2022 Alain Geoffroy ‘Signature’ Chablis Beauroy premier cru

Leaning towards the golden apple end of the Chablis spectrum, but still with the trademark steely acidity that makes it so good with shellfish. The richer premier cru vineyards, with that extra degree of ripeness, reward you with riper fruit than a village wine. Add extra concentration from lower yields, and it all adds up to a very fine wine indeed. I hesitate to label anything from Burgundy good value - but this comes close!
